How Artists Get Paid from Sync Licensing
By participating in our sync licensing service, artists earn royalties from multiple sources:

Sync Fee Royalties: While you may not receive pay upfront per sync, you'll still earn backend royalties from the placement of their music in films. These include:

Performance Royalties: Collected when the film airs or streams (on TV, in theaters, or on streaming platforms). These are paid through your PRO (Performing Rights Organization) like ASCAP, BMI, or SOCAN.

Mechanical Royalties: If the film’s soundtrack is sold or streamed (on DSPs), artists earn mechanical royalties from those sales or streams.
